The 'Antique' Hidden Mickey Heart Pendant is
Antique Bronze over Solid '.925 STERLING SILVER'
the chain is a 3.5mm Rope Chain, antique bronze plated over zinc,
with a nice Lobster Claw clasp
the pendant in the storyline was a gift from Merlin in the 6th Century,
so since it is a very old piece we gave it a patina with Antique Bronze
the Bronze plating also prevents the Silver from tarnishing!

VERMEIL (pronounced: vermay) is sterling silver that has been gold-plated. Our vermeil is plated with 14K gold. This also is a good combination for those with allergy to the antique bronze plated pendant. The difference between vermeil, and gold-filled, is in the thickness of the gold and the base metal used. In vermeil the base metal is Sterling Silver, whereas gold-filled base metal can be copper or zinc or anything else.
